A hillside home and a separate tree-top suite on more than 20 acres of native bush, right next to Kahurangi National Park. From the deck you look across the curve of Farewell Spit and the bay. The name means "Eye of the Kiwi": from above, the spit looks like the head of a kiwi. Private walking tracks run through the property, there is plenty of birdlife, and a wood fire for cooler evenings. A basket of local treats waits on arrival. Families and pets are welcome.
